"I made my first Mission trip to Honduras many years ago with NEI Missions. I was beginning to enter the preaching ministry and was looking for direction in my life. Although excited to go to Honduras, I had no clue what I would experience, and I could never have imagined what God had in store for me. During that first trip, I met people who have not only been friends for 12 years but have become my family. The first person I met in Honduras was my lovely wife, Amy, who was my translator during that first trip. Even though I have been to Honduras on 15 different missions and personal trips and have traveled a large part of the country, the thought of returning excites me like a kid on Christmas. Honduras is a place where I always see God at work. Not just at work in the lives of those I get the blessing to serve but also at work in my own life."
