What's in a name?Well, EVERYTHING!

In this case, Shakespeare got it all wrong. A name means everything! You only get one, and you can not have another! There is a very specific purpose in why we call ourselves "Broken Vessel Ministries," and it would be an honor to share our "why" behind the name with you!

Why do we call ourselves "Broken Vessel Ministries?"

Our journey has been one of deep reflection, heartfelt prayer, and meaningful discussions, all leading us to a name that truly embodies the essence of our mission and the emotions that resonate within each of us. Throughout this process we have encountered a rich tapestry of experiences. Some of our members have wrestled with feelings of unworthiness when it comes to serving the Lord in such a profound capacity. Others have found their way to Christ during the darkest and most challenging moments of their lives. It is through these powerful conversations that we have come to realize the importance of ensuring that everything we do is rooted in a spirit of pure, unadulterated worship.

A particularly touching and inspiring moment occurred when my beloved daddy, filled with emotion and with a sprit of encouragement, walked into the music studio with a song on his heart titled "He Didn't Throw the Clay Away." In that beautiful moment, as he shared his heartfelt message, the Holy Spirit illuminated our understanding and brought clarity to our mission. It was a reminder that just as God has used many broken individuals throughout scripture for His glory, He can mend countless lives, much like a skilled potter restores a shattered clay vessel. Moreover, we draw inspiration from the profound story of Mary, who, in an act of pure worship, poured her life savings from an alabaster jar to honor our Lord and Savior. This powerful imagery reinforces our desire to represent Him with authenticity and love, pouring out our hearts in worship and service to others. As we embark on this incredible journey, we invite you to join us! Together, we will celebrate the transformational journey of redemption, grace, and worship, uplifting one another and glorifying God in all that we do!

And in the words of that beautiful song, "I bless the day He didn't throw the clay away!"
